Dusan Vlahovic Set to Reunite with Vincenzo Italiano at Besiktas
Dusan Vlahovic is poised to reunite with Vincenzo Italiano and transfer to Besiktas. The Serbian center-forward has accepted the Turkish club's offer and will officially depart the Italian league. Vlahovic's contract with Juventus expired on June 30th, and he has now agreed to terms with Besiktas, becoming their new striker.
Vlahovic's Record Under Italiano
In the coming hours, Vlahovic will undergo his medical examinations before signing his new contract and joining Vincenzo Italiano. The coach previously managed Vlahovic for six months at Fiorentina during the 2021-22 season, prior to the striker's January move to Juventus. During that period, Vlahovic achieved an exceptional record, scoring 20 goals in 24 appearances (17 in the league and 3 in the Coppa Italia).
Vlahovic's Serie A Career
Vlahovic bids farewell to the Italian league after eight seasons. Fiorentina acquired him from Partizan Belgrade in the summer of 2018, and over three and a half years in Florence, he scored 49 goals in 108 appearances. In January 2022, he transferred to Juventus, where he netted 68 goals in 168 games for the Bianconeri, securing one Coppa Italia title.
