Inter Milan's Summer Pursuit for Creative Midfield Talent

Inter Milan remains focused on enhancing their squad with creative and dynamic players, a tactical adjustment they have frequently pursued in recent transfer windows but have yet to finalize. The club is set to renew its efforts this summer.

Among their most prominent targets was Ademola Lookman, who is no longer an option following his transfer to Atletico Madrid. A long-term admirer for Inter is Nico Paz. Real Madrid is expected to recall him this summer. Inter will closely monitor whether Los Blancos decide to retain him, given the strong competition for his position within their squad. Our Analysis of Inter's Strategy

Any significant tactical shift, potentially to a 3-4-2-1 formation or something more radical, might depend on the sale of Marcus Thuram. This is not out of the question, as Thuram doesn't appear to have fully integrated with Christian Chivu's system. Signing Nico Paz, especially under a loan-with-control arrangement, presents considerable challenges and might not be appealing for a club of Inter's stature. Furthermore, with Como potentially securing a European qualification spot, Paz's departure from his current club might not be a certainty.
